This webpage is your guide with information and details to help you create a top-rated presentation, including action items and due dates. Please share this guide with the team members involved in preparing your presentation assets.

By November 22, finalize and confirm your topic and outline in collaboration with the DSN team.


December 9

Visual assets are due. (Keynote/PPT/Video)

Presentation Requirements

Presentations are 15-18 minutes maximum.

Slides should be created in Keynote or PowerPoint using a 16x9 aspect ratio.

 

Tips for a Top-Rated Presentation

 

Think TED-style content delivery. Concise, valuable, impactful.

 

The DSU audience favors content that provides transparent how-to takeaways backed with statistics and examples.

 

Include stories of what went wrong or a challenge, how you solved it and identified gaps and the lessons learned.

Tips for Graphic Designers & Video Ediors

  • DO NOT USE WHITE or LIGHT COLORS FOR THE BACKGROUND.
     

    • White does not execute well on LED screens.

    • Deep, saturated colors work best.
       

  • Turn OFF anti-aliasing for small text for best appearance on LED screens.
     

  • Videos provided in 1920x1080 will project on the side screens.
     

  • To display video in the center screen, build and export in 2304x768.

Onsite Speaker Services

At the event, you will have access to the following:

 

  1. The stage set up includes downstage monitors to view your current and next slide as well as notes if needed.
     

  2. Speakers using slides will have a remote clicker to self-advance from stage.
     

  3. For speakers who prefer to present from a script, please provide a Word doc by Tuesday, December 24.
     

  4. DSN provides a makeup artist to help with shine control and fly away hairs only. On the day of your presentation, please arrive camera/stage-ready.
     

  5. Rehearsal time is available upon request. To request rehearsal time, email events@directsellingnews.com.
     

  6. Speakers will be assigned a helper from the DSN staff. Your helper is your point of contact for any questions or assistance once you arrive. A week before the event, you will be notified of your speaker helper and their contact information.

How to Submit Assets

Use this form to submit your assets. You can submit multiple assets at a time or come back at a later date to submit more. If you have any questions, email events@directsellingnews.com.

NOTE: The content committee will review and let you know if any revisions or adjustments are required.

DSU is a free 2-day Masterclass event with a TED-Style show flow for active direct selling executives and event sponsors.

 

Presentations include a combination of subject matter experts and executive leaders from today's prominent direct selling brands.
